As the debate over healthcare looms in the form of “repeal and replace”, or “just repeal” or “try to replace at another more convenient time”, the good folks over at Rewire News have peered into a byproduct of the debate. Abortion service providers have dwindled in the past 10 years as anti-choice activists in congress and senate continue to create legislation that restricts these services.  The result? Centers take on more patients and anti-choice advocates concentrate their protests. Care in Chaos takes a look at one such center in North Carolina where the administrator there is at her brink. I hope you check it out.

On the program today, the women behind the doc: Calla Hales, the 27 year old administrator who works at the abortion clinic and Lindsay Beyerstein an award winning investigative journalist and the woman behind the lens. They will join me to talk about the making of the documentary as well as how these top down policies affect the local community.
