It’s a double header today!!! And no, not because the Nationals are in game 7 of the World Series tonight.

On the program, Cicely Whitfield, Executive Director of the Bonder and Amanda Johnson Community Development Corporation to talk about the work they do to help the African American Nauck community in Arlington.

Later on the program, The Education Trust came out with a recent study, If You Listen, We Will Stay, on African American teachers and the rates of retention in public schools. We’ll talk to senior analyst on the Resource Equity team, Carrie Gillispie about the report.
