Hey Fam,

Yes, California Senator Kamala Harris ended her bid for President. Yes, I’m disappointed. Yes, we will talk about it. At length.

But, stick around, because when I attended the Maternal and Infant Health conference in DC this past September, an old friend introduced me to Stork’s Nest, a joint organization born from the March of Dimes and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. dedicated to promoting prenatal care for pregnant women through incentives and education.

With more than 80 “Nests” throughout the country, I hope some of you made your way to their site yesterday for Giving Tuesday. If you haven’t, Burnice Cain, a spokesperson for the organization will join me to talk about it.
