02-26-20 – Art Is Life

“Every child is an artist. The problem is staying an artist when you grow up.” – Pablo Picasso
Hey Fam,
As a child growing up, art was a way for me to emote without consequence. I’m so glad so many children grow up continuing what they started as a child. My two guests today are the prime examples of where your creativity can take you. Clarinetist Anthony McGill is one of classical music’s most recognizable and brilliantly multifaceted figures. He serves as the principal clarinet of the New York Philharmonic — the orchestra’s first African-American principal player.
Also on the program, Jason Green, who wrote, directed and produced the documentary Finding Fellowship, about a small town in Maryland that is searching to reclaim its community.
