Hey Family,

I have to be honest. It keeps getting harder and harder to ignore the glaring neon DANGER sign coming from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. But since a World War III might happen whether I purport to care or not, I figured I could at least talk about something that could be affected by the amplification of a microphone.

I started my show almost a year ago today on Colin Kaepernick and the momentum of his protest, so it is fitting that we come full circle to talk about the impending NFL boycott set to take place if he is not signed to a team this year.

I’m not going to claim to be a football buff, but I think his story highlights so many problematic stances the NFL takes regarding the relationship between the owners and its players.  Attorney Charles Coleman Jr.,  has been following this closer than I ever would and he will join me to talk about the protest, the boycott and how kneeling turned into a fight for our rights.
