As we wind down the month, I want to thank the mothers who work tirelessly to keep their lives and the lives of those they care about running smoothly. I see you.

One such mother that I am in constant awe of is Stefanie Brown James, a woman so dedicated to the betterment of African American’s that she Co-Founded the Collective PAC to help ensure that black people were represented in all aspects of political office across the country.

I talked to Stefanie about their latest campaign to add black candidates to the DCCC Red-to Blue program, a program that gives support and funding to candidates running to unseat republican incumbents.
