09-28-16 – We should all be feminists
Did you miss the show? Check it out here:
To understand how any society functions, you must understand the relationship between the men and the women. – Angela Davis
Hello family!
It’s Wednesday…and what does that mean? Nothing other than another day in the week. BUT, with the presidential debate Monday still cycling the news, i’ll talk about what Washington has to say about Clinton and Trump’s first debate.
Also, Hillary Clinton is inching closer to the White House. But will she be the first proclaimed feminist? Of course not. I’ll talk to Doreen Mattingly on her book A Feminist in the White House: Midge Costanza, the Carter years and America’s culture wars. You’d be surprised at what’s still relevant today.
And of course as always it’s a family affair! I’ll get Sasshem and Aqmeri’s take on the presidential elections.
Tweet me @EnlightenmeWERA or @andreacambron and tune in every Wednesday from 4-5pm ET on WERA 96.7 FM.

The relationship between men and women is one where, women are still interrupted by men in board meetings, in chruch, in the home. I love how after the debate this was brought up, and brought up again. I hope this raises the level of conversation. I’ll take a little extra awareness. Anyways, great blog!
