Well this is certainly a different outcome from what we experienced last year. Around this time a year ago, Republicans were celebrating victories in races across the country.  They received no such luck this time.  As Democrats picked up mayoral, state senate, city council and several other key seats in states across the country, many celebrated the rejection of President Trump’s administration with their votes.

We’ll talk about what those victories mean for Democrats, women and minorities on the program today with Kristal Knight, Executive Director of Emerge in Tennessee, a premier program, training democratic women for election races across the country.  Eighty-five Emerge Alums won in their races last night.
